После длительного периода тестирования разработчики Live for Speed выпустили новую версию симулятора под индексом 0.6E.
В новой версии используется прежняя физическая модель, основные изменения коснулись системы многопользовательского режима, устранено возникновение частых задержек и лагов на загруженных серверах.
Основные изменения в версии 0.6E: - Новая система "мгновенного" присоединиться к серверу. - Устранены задержки, вызванные игроками с медленным соединением. - Новый способ буферизации и хранения пакетов данных для снижения нагрузки на сервер. - Новая система защиты от взлома и система обнаружения читов. - Другие различные исправления и улучшения.

LFS World statistics fixes :
Wrong PB recorded if custom checkpoints added without restart Live host progress did not show changes to laps or qualifying After forced to spectate by admin - status remained "in race" Adding an AI driver changed real player's status to "in race" Spectating from garage screen left player's status "in pits"
